Three times a year – April, August and December – UTA makes adjustments to schedules and routes. The change days are planned into the schedule to accommodate for changes in ridership and traffic. Typically changes are made to improve on-time arrivals and route reliability.
When changes affect more than 20 percent of the route’s service, a public hearing is held in advance to discuss proposed changes (public hearings are now being held to discuss proposed changes in December 2012).
The next change day is Sunday, Aug. 19.
For more information on the routes affected, please see changes below. Additional information on each route can be found on the August 2012 change day page on UTA’s website.
To plan a trip based on the new schedule, use the trip planner and input a date after Aug. 19.
